Senneh O’Reilly came to photography after leaving an established career for the Forest Service as a wildland firefighter. Firefighting gave Senneh a background in personnel management and decision making in a dynamic environment, while providing opportunities to travel and photograph around the world. This diverse experience, combined with a degree in professional photography, created the foundation for what is now Heirloom Images Photography.

Senneh loves the process of telling a story with images, whether capturing your magical wedding moments with her low-key journalistic approach, or finding a unique way to showcase your personality and experience. She takes time to meet with couples and fully understand their vision, put them at ease in front of the camera, and capture their natural and sincere emotions. New this year Expectations is offering Same Day Edits (SDE) where footage captured just hours earlier at the wedding ceremony is edited and ready to be shown to reception guests. “And for people who like that nice grainy saturated look of real film I love to shoot with my vintage Super8 camera,” said Jensen. “Or maybe a bride or groom likes documentary style which I also really enjoy. Oh, and I love to do destination weddings too!” Enthusiasm for her profession shines through Jensen as she speaks of the work she loves to do, and the creative ideas just keep coming. Her goal is clearly to provide not just a professional wedding video, but a truly moving picture.

Vanessa Schulz is the foundering director of 21st Paradigm, a non-profit organization producing environmental documentaries for the past ten years. Her experience as a camerawoman is not only limited to her independent documentaries, but is grounded in her work for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Fox and NBC. Vanessa’s camerawork and editing skills have garnered national and international awards, including ‘best of festival,’ ‘best documentary’ and ‘outstanding artistic achievement.’

In part to support her environmental work, Vanessa makes select wedding videos. Her style is called Cinéma vérité, French for "cinema truth." Best described as "fly on the wall filmmaking," the filmmaker attempts to make his/her presence as unobtrusive as possible. Small cameras and natural lighting are preferred. The story is told in how the images are captured, which often makes editing unnecessary (greatly reducing cost). The footage in its natural and uncut form reflects the true essence of the event without editor bias; all the glorious intensity of laughter, tears, bonds, hope, romance, excitement, promise, and of course… love.

A dance floor, decorated with white lights and Chinese lanterns, is set amongst the trees offering an intimate setting for hours of dancing.
